One day, Chip the chipmunk woke up.
He felt the cool breeze.
“Winter is coming,” he said.
Chip ran to see his friends.
Chip lived in a cozy tree.

They all gathered food together.

“Let’s gather food!” Chip said.

“Oh no! I see a storm!” Chip cried.
“Let’s hurry!” Lucie shouted.
“Quick, help carry the food!” Ben said.
They rushed back to their tree.
Their hands were full of food.
They got back just in time.
“We made it!” Chip cheered.
“Yay, we have lots!” said Lucie.
“Now we are ready for winter,” Ben smiled.
And they all felt warm inside.
