One sunny day, Chip the chipmunk was busy. Chip was looking for nuts.
“Look at all these nuts!” Chip said.
He gathered them in his little paws.
Chip loved nuts, especially acorns.

A big deer named Dave appeared.
“Hello, little friends,” said Dave. “What are you doing?”
“We are gathering nuts!” Chip and Mimi said.
“Can I help?” asked Dave.
“Yes, you can!” Chip and Mimi said together.
Dave used his big nose to find more nuts.
Soon, they had a huge pile.
“Thank you, Dave,” Chip said.
“Friends help each other,” Dave replied.
They all sat and nibbled on nuts.
