“Look what I found!” Jake said, holding up an old, dusty map.
“Wow! Where did you get that?” asked Lily, her eyes wide with curiosity.
Jake grinned. “I found it in my grandpa’s attic. It’s supposed to show where the lost treasure of Atlantis is!”
Lily gasped. “Atlantis? Isn’t that just a myth?”
Jake shook his head. “My grandpa told me stories about it. He said this map is real.”
Ben, their friend, joined them. “What’s going on, guys?”
“We’re going on a treasure hunt!” Lily exclaimed, showing him the map.
“Cool! Count me in,” Ben said, excitement bubbling in his voice.
The three friends lived in a small coastal town. They spent many afternoons playing by the beach or exploring the nearby woods.
They had always dreamed of finding treasure and becoming famous explorers.
Jake’s grandpa was once a sailor and had traveled all over the world. He used to tell Jake fascinating stories about his adventures.
One day, while cleaning the attic, Jake stumbled upon the old map. It was yellowed with age and had weird symbols on it.
He knew at that moment he had discovered something extraordinary.

“Let’s meet at the beach tomorrow morning,” Jake suggested. “We’ll start our search there.”
The next morning they gathered at the beach, the map spread out on a large rock.
According to the map, the first clue was to find a seashell that glowed in the sun.
“Look around for anything unusual,” Lily said, scanning the sand.
Ben was the first to find it. “Over here!” he shouted, picking up a shimmering shell.
Jake looked at the map. “Now we need to find the ‘Enchanted Rock,’ it says it’s across the waters.”
“How are we going to get there?” Lily wondered aloud.
Ben smiled. “We can use my dad’s canoe. It’s tied up just over there.”
They paddled towards the small island marked on the map. As they approached, Jake read aloud, “The treasure lies where the stars dance and the earth sings.”
“What does that mean?” Ben asked, scratching his head.
“It’s a riddle,” Lily said thoughtfully. “Maybe it’s talking about a cave or a special spot on the island.”

They continued their search, using the map to guide them. After hours of looking, they found a small cave.
“This must be it!” declared Jake.
Inside the cave, they saw pictures carved into the walls. One depicted a starry sky; another showed wavy lines like musical notes.
“The stars and the music—it’s just like the riddle!” Ben said.
They followed the carvings deeper into the cave until they found a stone chest hidden in a corner.
“This has to be the treasure!” Lily exclaimed, her heart pounding with excitement.
With trembling hands, Jake pried open the chest. Inside, they found old coins, shiny jewels, and intricate artifacts.
“We did it! We found the lost treasure of Atlantis!” Ben shouted, dancing around.

They carried the chest back to their canoe and paddled back to the shore, their hearts full of joy and wonder.
“We have to show everyone!” Lily said, holding up a sparkling necklace.
Jake nodded. “But let’s promise to always keep the adventure alive in our hearts.”
“Agreed!” Ben and Lily said in unison.
As they walked back to their town, they felt like true explorers, knowing that the treasure was not just in the chest but also in the memories they had made.
“The end,” Jake said with a grin, feeling proud of their incredible journey.
The end.
