Lucy and Ben walked with their dog, Spot.
“Where are we going?” asked Ben.
“We’re going to Giant Land!” said Lucy excitedly.
“Wow, will there be giants?” Ben wondered.
“Yes, I hope they’re nice!” replied Lucy.
Spot wagged his tail happily.
Giant Land was not far away.
It was over the small hill.
The trees were big and tall.
“Everything looks huge here,” said Ben.
“It’s like a dream,” replied Lucy.
Spot barked at a butterfly.
Suddenly, they heard a big voice.
“Hello down there!” said a giant.
He was very tall and friendly.
“Would you like to have a picnic?” he asked.
“Yes, please!” said Lucy and Ben together.
Spot barked in agreement.
The giant laid out a blanket.
He had a huge sandwich and fruit.
“Can we eat that?” asked Ben.
“Of course, you can share it!” laughed the giant.
Lucy and Ben took small bites.
“It’s yummy!” said Lucy.
After the picnic, they said goodbye.
“Come back soon!” said the giant.
Lucy, Ben, and Spot walked home.
“It’s nice to meet new friends,” said Ben.
“Yes, and giants aren’t so scary!” added Lucy.
Spot happily wagged his tail.
