One day, in a green forest, a little hedgehog woke up.
“Hmm,” said the hedgehog, “I want to help today!”
He went out and saw his friend, the squirrel.
“Squirrel!” called the hedgehog, “Need help with nuts?”
“Yes, I do!” said the squirrel happily.
The forest was full of trees.
The sun was bright and warm.
Birds sang in the sky.
The hedgehog loved the forest.
It was a nice home.
The hedgehog was small and friendly.

The hedgehog had clever ideas.
“Let’s find nuts together,” he said.
They walked to the big tree.
“Look, nuts are here,” said the hedgehog.
“Thank you,” smiled the squirrel.
The hedgehog then saw a rabbit.
“What do you need, rabbit?” he asked.

“I need carrots,” said the rabbit.
“We’ll find them,” said the hedgehog.
They hopped to the carrot patch.
“There are so many!” said the hedgehog.
“Yay!” cheered the rabbit.
“You helped me,” said the rabbit.

The hedgehog felt happy inside.
“Helping is fun,” said the hedgehog.
“You are our friend,” said all the animals.
The little hedgehog smiled big.
He knew he was loved.
The end.
