One sunny day, a sparrow sang loud.
“Tweet, tweet!” the sparrow chimed cheerfully.
The meadow woke up.
“Who is singing?” asked the bee.
The ant raised his head.
“I think it’s the sparrow!” he said.
The sparrow loved singing every morning.
The grass, flowers, and bugs listened.
“Your song is bright,” said the butterfly.
“Thank you,” replied the sparrow.
“I sing when I’m happy.”

The sparrow sang about the blue sky.
She sang about the yellow sun.
“Join me!” she called to her friends.
The bee buzzed along.
“Buzz, buzz,” went the bee.
The ant tapped his feet.
“Tap, tap,” went the ant.

Suddenly, the wind blew fast.
The flowers swayed side to side.
“Keep singing!” shouted the butterfly.
“Stay strong!” encouraged the bee.
The sparrow sang even louder.
Her song was brave and bright.

The wind quieted down.
All was calm again.
“Your song saved the day,” said the butterfly.
The sparrow smiled wide.
“I just sang from my heart.”
The meadow was happy once again.
The end.
