Zebra woke up with a yawn.
“Today, I am visiting the zoo!” Zebra said.
She put on her best hat.
The hat had colorful stripes like her!
“Good morning, Sun!” Zebra greeted.
The sun shone bright and happy.
Zebra trotted down the path to the zoo.
She wondered, “What will I see?”
Zebra saw lions roaring in cages.
“Hello, lions!” Zebra said to them.
The lions looked a bit sad.
“Why are you sad?” Zebra asked.
“We miss running free,” said one lion.
Zebra thought deeply about that.
She then saw the elephants in a pen.
“Hello, elephants!” Zebra called out.
“Hello, Zebra,” they replied slowly.
Suddenly, Zebra had an idea.
“What if we switch roles?” she asked.
The animals looked curious.
“Yes, let’s switch!” chimed the monkeys.
Zebra entered the lion’s cage.
The lion stepped outside, looking happy.
She saw the elephants and penguins swap too.
Everyone giggled and enjoyed the switch.
At the end, animals went back.
“Thank you, Zebra,” they all cheered.
Zebra smiled. “Glad to help!”
She waved goodbye, trotting back home.
That night, Zebra slept well.
The zoo animals dreamt happily too.
