One sunny day, Lily and Max went to explore their backyard.
“I found a secret door!” Lily shouted.
Max ran over. “Where does it lead?”
“I don’t know. Let’s find out,” Lily said.
They opened the tiny door and crawled through.
Inside, they found a beautiful garden.
Bright flowers danced in the wind.
“Wow, look at all the colors!” Max pointed around.
“Do you hear that?” Lily asked, listening closely.
The flowers were talking!
“Welcome to our enchanted garden,” said a blue tulip.
“You can talk?” Max gasped.
“Yes, and we love to play,” giggled a red rose.
“We love playing too!” said Lily.
A butterfly with sparkling wings flew near them.
“I am Bella. Would you like a tour?” the butterfly asked.
“Yes, please,” Max and Lily replied together.
Bella showed them a pond with glittering fish.
“These are magic fish,” Bella explained.
“Can we touch them?” Max asked.
“Only gently,” Bella nodded.
Lily lightly touched a fish, and it lit up!
“Wow, it’s glowing!” Lily exclaimed.
Next, Bella led them to a golden tree.
“What does this tree do?” Max wondered.
“It grants wishes, but only if you ask nicely,” Bella said.
“I wish for a fun adventure,” Lily said.
Suddenly, colorful birds appeared and started singing.
“This is amazing!” Max laughed.
The sun started to set.
“We have to go home,” Lily said sadly.
“Will we see you again?” Max asked the flowers.
“Yes, come back anytime,” the blue tulip promised.
The kids waved goodbye.
As they crawled back through the tiny door, they knew they had found a special place.
A place full of magic and new friends.
“We have to tell Mom and Dad about this!” Max said.
“Definitely,” Lily agreed.
And they couldn’t wait to visit the enchanted garden again.
