One sunny day, Squirrel was jumping from tree to tree.
“Squeak, squeak!” Squirrel chirped. “I have an idea!”
Squirrel decided to throw an acorn party.
“This will be so much fun!” Squirrel said.
He ran to his friends’ homes to invite them.
“Fox, Rabbit, Birdy, come to my party!” Squirrel shouted.
“What’s a party?” Fox asked.
“We will eat acorns and play games!” Squirrel explained.
“Yay! That sounds fun!” Rabbit said.
“We will be there!” Birdy chirped.
Squirrel had been saving acorns all summer long.
“I have so many acorns,” Squirrel thought. “I can share them!”
Fox loved to eat acorns too.
“These acorns are tasty,” Fox always said.
Rabbit liked to nibble on acorns for breakfast.
Birdy used acorns to make nests cozy.
Squirrel knew his friends would love the party.

Squirrel started to decorate his home with leaves and flowers.
“Can you help me decorate, Birdy?” Squirrel asked.
“Of course!” Birdy tweeted. “I will find pretty leaves!”
Fox helped by gathering acorns.
“Here are lots of acorns, Squirrel!” Fox said.
Rabbit made little games for everyone to play.
“Let’s play hide and seek!” Rabbit suggested.
The friends worked together all afternoon.

Finally, the party started, and everyone was excited.
“Welcome to the acorn party!” Squirrel cheered.
“Yum! These acorns are delicious,” Fox said, munching away.
“Where should we hide?” Rabbit asked, ready to play.
“Over here! Behind the tree!” Birdy suggested.
Everyone hid, laughed, and played games for hours.
They sang songs and danced under the big tree.
“This is the best party ever!” Rabbit exclaimed.

As the day came to an end, Squirrel felt happy.
“Thank you for coming to my party,” Squirrel said, smiling.
“We had so much fun!” Fox, Rabbit, and Birdy replied.
Squirrel hugged his friends and gave them more acorns.
“See you again soon!” Squirrel waved goodbye.
“Squeak, squeak!” everyone shouted with joy.
The sun set, and Squirrel felt warm inside.
Sharing made his heart happy.
The end.
