One night, a shiny star glowed bright.
“Wow!” said Max. “Look at that star!”
“Can we go see it?” asked Lily.
The star twinkled and said, “Come with me!”
Max and Lily held hands.
The star began to fly.
“Hold on tight!” the star said.
“We are going to the sky!”
Max and Lily floated up.
“We’re flying!” Max said.
Stars and moons smiled at them.
“This is fun!” said Lily.
They saw planets so big.
“Look, that one is red!” said Max.
“And that one has rings!” added Lily.
Suddenly, the star slowed down.
“What’s wrong?” asked Max.
“We must go back,” said the star.
“Don’t be sad,” it added.
“We will come again,” Max said.
“Yes, and see new things,” said Lily.
Max and Lily floated down.
“Thank you, shiny star!” they said.
“Goodnight,” said the star.
Max and Lily waved.
They were now back in bed.
“We had fun,” said Lily.
“Yes, we did,” said Max.
