Tommy and Sarah were on a family vacation.
One day their dad suggested a boat trip around the islands.
“Look, there’s a small island ahead!” Tommy shouted, pointing to a tiny dot in the ocean.
“Let’s go explore!” Sarah suggested, clapping her hands.
Their parents agreed, and they anchored the boat near the island.
The kids raced each other to the sandy shore.
“Wow, look at those huge footprints!” Tommy exclaimed.
“They look like dinosaur prints,” Sarah whispered.
Tommy and Sarah followed the footprints deeper into the island.
The island felt mysterious and ancient with tall, thick trees everywhere.
Tommy and Sarah felt like real explorers.
“Do you think dinosaurs are real?” Tommy asked, looking around.
“Maybe,” Sarah replied thoughtfully, “or maybe just big animals.”
Suddenly, they heard a loud roar.
“Did you hear that?” Tommy asked, eyes wide.
“Yeah, let’s go see!” Sarah answered, pulling him along.
As they walked, the roars got louder and louder.

The kids walked into a clearing and saw a Triceratops eating leaves.
“It’s a real dinosaur!” Tommy whispered in awe.
“How is this possible?” Sarah wondered aloud.
The Triceratops noticed them and slowly walked over.
“It’s friendly,” Sarah said, petting its rough skin.
Just then, a Tyrannosaurus Rex appeared, roaring loudly.
The Triceratops trumpeted in alarm and ran away.
“We need to hide!” Tommy cried, grabbing Sarah’s hand.
They ran to a large cave for safety.

In the cave, they found a scientist working on a computer.
“Who are you?” Sarah asked, surprised.
“My name is Dr. O’Neill. I study dinosaurs here,” she replied.
“Why are there dinosaurs on this island?” Tommy asked.
“It’s a secret experiment,” Dr. O’Neill explained. “But now it’s out of control.”
The ground shook as the T-Rex roared outside the cave.
“We have to get back to the boat!” Sarah said urgently.
Dr. O’Neill handed them a flare gun.
“Take this; you’ll need it,” she said.
They sprinted out of the cave, dodging the T-Rex.
“Quick, this way!” Tommy shouted, leading the way.

With the T-Rex chasing them, they ran as fast as they could.
Tommy fired the flare gun, startling the T-Rex.
It paused just long enough for them to reach the shore.
“We made it!” Sarah cheered as they jumped into the boat.
Their parents looked worried but relieved.
“You kids had us so scared!” their dad said.
“You won’t believe what we saw!” Tommy replied excitedly.
“Can we go back tomorrow?” Sarah asked, catching her breath.
“Absolutely not,” their mom replied, shaking her head.
But Tommy and Sarah couldn’t stop smiling.
They had just escaped Dinosaur Island.
The end.
