Tommy put on his small chef hat.
He wanted to cook in the kitchen.
“Let’s make magic soup!” Tommy said.
“Yes, let’s do it!” said his teddy bear.
Tommy loved kitchen time with Teddy.
They always had fun making snacks.
Tommy opened the cupboard wide.
He saw jars of colorful food.
“What’s this green jar, Teddy?” Tommy asked.
“Magic peas!” whispered Teddy with a smile.
Tommy poured peas into the pot.
He added a pinch of red salt.
“It’s bubbling, Teddy!” Tommy giggled.
“Stir, stir, stir!” said Teddy, pretending to stir.
Tommy stirred with his big spoon.
He watched the soup swirl around.
Suddenly, bubbles went pop, pop, pop!
The soup turned bright blue!
“Magic soup, wow!” shouted Tommy.
“Taste it!” Teddy said excitedly.
Tommy took a small spoonful.
“Mmm, it’s yummy!” he laughed.
Tommy served two bowls of soup.
One for him, one for Teddy.
“Teddy, you are the best cook!” Tommy said.
“You are magic too, Tommy!” said Teddy.
They both clapped and cheered.
