One night, Bunny jumped up and down, pointing at the sky.
“Wow! Look at all the stars!” Bunny exclaimed.
Fuzzy the Fox was curious, looking up at the twinkling lights.
“What are those shiny things, Bunny?” Fuzzy asked.
Bunny grinned and said, “Those are stars, silly!”
“Do they come every night?” Fuzzy wondered aloud.
Bunny and Fuzzy lived in a big green forest.
They loved to play and explore every day.
But they had never stayed up late at night before.
Tonight was their first chance to see the stars together.
The night sky was dark, with lots of twinkling stars.

“Let’s invite our friends to see the stars too!” Bunny suggested.
Fuzzy nodded and called out, “Owl! Squirrel! Come over here!”
Owl flew down, flapping his big wings.
“What is all the fuss about?” Owl hooted softly.
“We are looking at stars!” Bunny said excitedly.
Squirrel scampered up, nibbling on an acorn.
“Ooh, shiny!” Squirrel chirped, eyes wide.

“Can we count them?” Squirrel asked, bouncing with excitement.
“Let’s try!” suggested Fuzzy, wagging his fluffy tail.
They all began to count, “One, two, three, four…”
There were just too many stars to count!
“Oh no, there are so many, I lost track,” Bunny giggled.
“Maybe we should make a wish instead,” wise Owl suggested.
“Yes! A wish!” Fuzzy clapped, thrilled.

They closed their eyes and made a wish together.
When they opened them, they were still surrounded by stars.
Fuzzy smiled and said, “The stars are our friends.”
“Every night, the stars will be here for us,” Owl added.
“Wow, what a special night,” Squirrel said, feeling happy.
“Yes, I love our starry night,” Bunny agreed, yawning a bit.
As the night grew late, it was time to sleep.
They all said goodnight and snuggled up in their beds.
The end.
