One sunny day, Ellie the elephant woke up early.
She loved mornings in the jungle.
“What’s that sound?” Ellie wondered out loud.
“Whooo, whooo,” she heard from far away.
It was an echo, and Ellie was curious.
“Echo, echo!” she called, hearing it bounce back.
Ellie lived in a jungle full of tall trees.
Her jungle friends loved her big ears and trunk.
One of her best friends was Sam the squirrel.
“Ellie, do you know about echoes?” Sam asked.
“No, what are they?” Ellie replied eagerly.
“Let’s find out together!” Sam said happily.

Ellie and Sam walked down the jungle path.
“Echoes happen when sound bounces,” Sam explained.
Ellie nodded and said, “Like a ball bounces?”
“Exactly!” Sam chirped, full of energy.
As they walked, Ellie trumpeted, “Hello, jungle!”
“Hello, jungle,” the echo replied softly.
“This is fun!” Ellie laughed with delight.

Then, Ellie had an idea and stopped.
“Let’s make it louder!” she suggested to Sam.
“Sure!” Sam agreed, ready for the adventure.
Both shouted together, “Hello, jungle!”
The echo returned, “Hello, jungle,” sounding much louder.
“Wow, that was amazing!” Ellie exclaimed, ears flapping.
“I love echoes!” Sam echoed Ellie’s excitement.

After a fun day, Ellie felt happy and smart.
“Echoes make jungle sounds even more fun,” she said.
“Yes, and learning is always exciting,” Sam added.
Ellie thanked Sam for the day’s adventure.
“Can we play with echoes tomorrow?” Ellie asked.
“Of course!” Sam replied with a cheerful smile.
Together, they trotted home, their voices echoing softly.
The end.
