One sunny morning, Sleepy Sloth woke up very slowly. “Why is the sun so bright?” he yawned. His friend, Lively Lizard, zipped by. “Hurry, Sleepy! Let’s play!” Lively called.
Sleepy Sloth lived in the lush, green forest. He loved to hang in his favorite tall tree. All his friends moved fast, but Sleepy liked slow. “What if we take it easy today?” Sleepy said. “I like to watch the clouds float by.”

Lively Lizard stopped and thought for a moment. “Why do you like slow so much?” he asked. “Slow lets me see all the little things,” said Sleepy. “Look at that butterfly over there.” Lively looked and saw the beautiful colors. “Wow! I never noticed that,” Lively said in awe.

Sleepy Sloth and Lively Lizard sat quietly. They watched the clouds and listened to the breeze. “Let’s see who spots the funniest cloud!” Sleepy said. Lively saw one that looked like a big snail. “I see a funny snail!” Lively giggled. “I see a fluffy elephant!” said Sleepy, laughing.

Sleepy Sloth and Lively Lizard smiled together. “Slow lets us find magic in little things,” said Sleepy. “Thank you, Sleepy. I love slow now!” Lively laughed. “We can go fast sometimes and slow, too.” “Slow is special,” Sleepy said, closing his eyes. They both took a peaceful nap under the sun. The end.
