Yak the Yak was very excited.
He was hosting a party in his yurt.
“Come to my yurt party!” Yak told his friend, Fox.
Fox wagged his tail and asked, “What is a yurt, Yak?”
“A yurt is a cozy, round tent,” Yak said, smiling.
Yak lived in a beautiful valley with mountains all around.
His yurt was the most colorful, with bright reds and blues.
Every year, Yak hosted a party to share his culture.
He loved teaching his friends about yurt life and being kind hosts.

The day of the party arrived.
Fox brought his friend, Rabbit, who looked excited.
“Hi, Rabbit,” Yak said. “Welcome to my yurt!”
Rabbit hopped in and looked around with wide eyes.
“Why is it round?” Rabbit asked, pointing.
“It’s round so it stays warm inside,” Yak explained.
More friends arrived—Bird, Bear, and Mouse.
“Come in, come in!” Yak said cheerfully.
Everyone sat around a big, low table.
Yak served warm milk and berries to everyone.
“Thank you, Yak,” Bear said, crunching and munching.
“We always share food with our guests,” Yak replied.

Suddenly, the wind howled and the yurt shook.
“Is it okay, Yak?” Mouse squeaked, looking worried.
“Don’t worry,” Yak said. “Yurts are very strong.”
Everyone held hands, feeling safe together.
The wind soon stopped and the yurt stood firm.
Yak started to tell stories of faraway lands.
“Once, I traveled over high mountains,” Yak said.
Everyone listened, eyes wide, imagining the great adventure.

The sun set, and it was time to go home.
“Thank you for a wonderful day!” Fox said.
“I had so much fun,” Rabbit added, jumping.
“Come back soon,” Yak said, waving goodbye to his friends.
Yak felt happy and proud of his cozy yurt.
“Yurts are strong and so are friends,” Yak thought.
The end.
