“Different time periods? That sounds so cool!” Alex said, his eyes lighting up.
“You must retrieve the artifact before Dr. Malum uses it to plunge the world into chaos,” Chronos explained.
“We’re on it!” said Liam, with his usual enthusiasm.
The wristbands activated, and in an instant, the park disappeared. The trio found themselves standing in the middle of a bustling city.
“Let’s get moving,” Maya said. “There’s no time to waste.”

The friends traveled to ancient Egypt, where they faced their first challenge inside a pyramid. The walls were lined with hieroglyphics.
“These symbols must be clues,” Maya said, running her fingers over the ancient carvings.

Together, they deciphered the message and found a hidden passage. They ventured forward, arms linked, trying not to be scared.
Next, they arrived in medieval Europe, where they encountered knights guarding a castle. Alex used his tablet to create a distraction.
“Over here, knights!” Alex shouted, waving the tablet wildly and causing a series of lights to flash.
While the knights were distracted, Maya and Liam snuck into the castle and found a riddle carved into a stone wall.
“It says, ‘To move ahead, choose wisely near the dragon’s lair,’” Maya read aloud.
“That must mean we have to find this lair,” Liam said, eyes shining with excitement.
Lastly, they traveled to a futuristic city full of towering skyscrapers and flying cars. They found Dr. Malum’s riddle etched into a gleaming pillar: “Only those who see beyond time will find me.”
“We need to look beyond what’s visible,” Maya guessed.
Alex used his wristband to project a holographic map. “There! A hidden temple! That must be where Dr. Malum is!”
“Then let’s go!” Liam urged, ready to face whatever lay ahead.
In the hidden temple, Alex, Maya, and Liam approached a glowing pedestal.
“It must be here,” whispered Maya.
Suddenly, Dr. Malum emerged from the shadows, grinning wickedly.
“Well, well, you’ve made it this far?” he sneered.
“Give us the artifact, Malum!” demanded Alex, clutching a gadget in his hand.
Dr. Malum laughed. “Think you can outsmart me?”
Liam darted forward, attempting to grab the artifact. Dr. Malum quickly activated a trap, causing the floor to shift.
“Careful!” shouted Maya, solving the riddles one by one to bypass the traps.
Alex adjusted his gadget and disarmed the final trap. The friends surrounded Dr. Malum, who now looked panicked.
“We work together, Dr. Malum. You can’t win,” said Liam confidently.
“Fine! Take it!” Malum spat, throwing the artifact toward them as he fled.
Maya caught the artifact just in time. “Got it! Now, let’s return it to its place.”

Maya held out her hand, revealing a crystal glowing with the colors of the portal.

Returning to Willow Creek Park, they looked at each other, knowing they were forever bonded by this journey.
