Lila and Ben sat in the school library.
They loved reading books together.
One day, Ben found an old quill on a dusty shelf.
“Look, Lila!” Ben said. “What is this?”
Lila took the quill and felt it tickle in her hand.
“Maybe it’s magical!” she giggled.
Suddenly, the quill trembled and floated in the air.
The librarian, Mrs. Green, came walking by.
She saw the floating quill and smiled.
“Ah, you found the Magic Quill,” she said.
“What does it do?” asked Ben.
Mrs. Green explained, “The Magic Quill takes you on story adventures.”
“You mean, we can visit the stories?” Lila asked, eyes wide with excitement.
“Yes,” said Mrs. Green. “But remember, be brave and have fun.”

They agreed to try the quill and see its magic.
Lila and Ben held the quill together.
The quill dipped itself in an ink bottle.
“Where should we go?” Ben asked.
“Let’s go to a pirate story,” Lila suggested.
With a swish, the quill wrote on a blank page.
A swirl of colors appeared, and they found themselves on a pirate ship.

“Ahoy there, mateys!” Captain Claw shouted.
“Who are you?” Ben asked, feeling nervous.
“We’re here to find treasure!” Lila said bravely.
Captain Claw laughed and handed them a map.
“Follow this, and you might find gold,” he said.
They followed the map through the ship.
Suddenly, they heard a rumbling sound.
“It’s a storm!” Lila shouted as the ship swayed.
“Hurry, Lila!” Ben urged.
They ran to the treasure chest and opened it.
In it, they found coins, jewels, and a shiny key.

“It’s time to go back,” Ben said, holding the key.
The quill lifted them out of the story.
“Did you enjoy your adventure?” Mrs. Green asked.
“Yes, it was amazing!” Lila exclaimed.
“We found treasure!” Ben added, showing the key.
“Keep this key as a memory,” Mrs. Green said with a wink.
Lila and Ben knew they would have more adventures.
With the Magic Quill, the stories never ended.
The end.
