
One sunny day, Ella the elephant played in the forest.
She was the littlest elephant in her herd.
“Ella, want to play tag?” asked her big sister, Maya.
Ella nodded happily and ran around Maya.
Ella always wished she was as big as Maya.
“I want to be big and strong,” Ella said.
“But you are special,” her mommy told her.
“Being small can be good too,” she added.

One afternoon, the herd reached a wide river.
“We need to cross,” said Grandpa Elephant.
“But the water is too strong,” worried Papa Elephant.
“We should find a bridge,” said Uncle Joe.

Ella spotted a tiny bridge in the distance.
“I see a small bridge!” Ella shouted.
“It’s too small for us big elephants,” said Mommy.
“But maybe it fits me!” Ella suggested excitedly.
Everyone watched as Ella crossed the tiny bridge.
She made it across safely and waved back.

“Well done, Ella,” Grandpa smiled warmly.
“You saved the day, Little Hero,” said Papa.
“See, being small is special,” Mommy said.
Ella beamed with joy and love.
The herd crossed, one by one.
Ella knew her size didn’t measure her heart.
