One sunny afternoon, Ellie and Jack were playing on the beach.
Then, they saw something shimmering in the water.
“Look, Jack! What’s that?” Ellie pointed.
“I don’t know, Ellie,” Jack replied. “Let’s go see!”
As they got closer, they saw a beautiful mermaid with golden hair.
“Hello, children,” said the mermaid, smiling. “My name is Marina!”

Ellie noticed a small, shiny object on the ocean floor.
“Marina, what’s that?” she asked.
“Oh, that’s a shell phone,” Marina explained. “We use it to talk to other mermaids.”
Suddenly, they saw a playful dolphin.
“Do you want to ride on my back?” the dolphin asked.
“Yes, please!” said Ellie and Jack, hopping on.
The dolphin took them to a grand coral castle.
“Welcome to my home,” Marina said proudly.
Inside, they saw sparkling treasure chests and glowing pearls.
“Can we play with the treasures?” Jack asked.
“Of course,” Marina replied. “They are for everyone to enjoy.”
Just then, an octopus named Oliver swam by.
“Would you like to dance at our underwater party?” he asked.
Ellie and Jack nodded excitedly.
The party was full of laughter, music, and dancing sea creatures.
Ellie spun around with a jellyfish, and Jack danced with a crab.
“I wish we could stay here forever,” said Ellie.
“You can always visit,” Marina assured them, “Just call me with the shell phone!”
As the party wound down, Marina waved her hands again.
The magical bubble took Ellie and Jack back to the beach.
“Thank you, Marina!” they shouted, waving goodbye.
“See you soon,” Marina called back, disappearing into the waves.
Ellie and Jack smiled, knowing they had a new, magical friend forever.
