One sunny day, Cammy the chameleon sat on a big green leaf.
He loved to watch the world around him.
“Look at me!” Cammy said. “I am so green!”
Suddenly, a butterfly flew by.
“Wow!” Cammy exclaimed. “Look how colorful you are!”
“Thank you!” replied the butterfly.
“Why do you change colors?” asked Cammy.
Cammy was curious about his own colors.
He had never really understood his changes.
“Sometimes,” he thought, “I am green. Sometimes, I am brown.”
“Am I special?” wondered Cammy.
“Do others like my colors?”

“Oh no!” said Lily. “It’s going to rain!”
Cammy turned bright yellow to blend with a flower.
“Look at you!” Lily laughed. “Now you are as bright as the sun!”
Cammy smiled, feeling proud of his new color.
Rain started to fall, and Cammy changed once more.
He turned a beautiful blue, just like the sky.
“Wow, Cammy! You are so cool!” said Lily.

Cammy felt happy and proud inside.
“Thank you, Lily!” he said, smiling.
“I like my colors now.”
“You should!” Lily replied. “They make you, YOU!”
From that day on, Cammy loved every color he became.
“The world is full of colors, just like me,” thought Cammy.
“And that is wonderful!”
