“Hey, Nina Come check this out” shouted Max waving a flyer in the air
Nina raced over her backpack bouncing on her shoulders
“What is it” she asked eyes wide with curiosity
Max beamed “It’s a flyer for the Robot Builders League They’re looking for teams to join”
Nina’s jaw dropped “Robots That sounds awesome Let’s do it”
Just then friends Aliyah and Jake walked by Aliyah noticed the flyer and asked “What’s going on You guys look excited”
Max explained “We’re starting a team to build a robot for a competition”
Jake’s face lit up “Count me in I’ve always wanted to build a robot”
“Me too” said Aliyah nodding eagerly
“Great” Max said “Let’s meet at my house after school to plan everything”
After school the friends gathered in Max’s garage Tools and gadgets were scattered everywhere
“This place is perfect” Jake said looking around
Max grinned “My dad lets me use his tools so we have everything we need”
Nina pulled out a notebook “Okay team First we need a name”
Aliyah thought for a moment “How about the Tech Titans”
Everyone nodded in agreement
“Alright Tech Titans it is” said Nina “Now what kind of robot should we build”
Max scratched his head “It has to be something amazing something that will win the competition”
Jake suggested “Maybe a robot that can do cool tricks”
Aliyah added “Or one that helps with chores”
After much discussion they decided to build a robot that could do both tricks and chores
Nina drew a sketch of their robot “We’ll call it RoboRex It can do flips and also clean up rooms”
“Sounds perfect” said Max “Let’s start building”
The Tech Titans worked hard each bringing their unique skills to the project
Jake worked on the coding Aliyah designed the robot’s arms and Max handled the wiring
Nina organized the tools and kept track of their progress
One evening while they were all busy Max’s dad walked in
“Wow kids that looks impressive” he said examining RoboRex
Nina grinned “Thanks Mr Roberts We’re entering it in the Robot Builders League competition”
The day of the competition arrived The Tech Titans were nervous but excited
They set up RoboRex on the stage surrounded by other amazing robots
Max nodded confidently “It will I believe in all of us”
The judges announced “Next up the Tech Titans with RoboRex”
Taking a deep breath Jake hit the start button on the remote control
RoboRex whirred to life performing a series of flips flawlessly
The audience gasped in amazement Then RoboRex moved to clean up a messy table picking up toys and stacking them neatly
The crowd erupted in applause
The judges whispered among themselves before walking up to the team “Congratulations Tech Titans” one of the judges said “You’ve built an incredible robot”
Back at Max’s garage the team celebrated their big win
Nina smiled “I think RoboRex deserves some credit too”
Max’s eyes sparkled with new ideas “How about we build a robot that can play sports”
Jake laughed “Or one that can help with homework”
The friends all nodded excited for their next adventure
