One sunny day, Rabbit found a paint palette.
“Wow, look at all these colors!” Rabbit exclaimed.
She picked it up carefully and hopped to the meadow.
Her friends, Squirrel and Bird, saw her and followed.
“Rabbit, what do you have there?” asked Squirrel.
“It’s a paint palette,” Rabbit replied with a smile.
“What does it do?” Bird wondered out loud.
“It has colors, and you can paint with it!” said Rabbit.

“Let’s paint the meadow!” Rabbit suggested excitedly.
“Yes, yes!” Squirrel and Bird cheered together.
Rabbit picked up a brush and dipped it in red paint.
“We’ll start with red. What red things do we see?”
“Red flowers!” shouted Squirrel.
“Red apples!” added Bird.

They painted red flowers and apples on the grass.
Next, Rabbit chose blue. “What should we paint blue?”
“Blue sky!” Squirrel and Bird said in unison.
They painted a big, blue sky across the meadow.
Then they used green for the trees and grass.
Finally, they used yellow for the bright sunshine.
“Look at our colorful meadow now!” said Rabbit proudly.

“Wow, it’s so beautiful!” said Squirrel.
“Yes, we did a great job,” agreed Bird.
“Thank you for helping me,” Rabbit said, smiling.
“Let’s come back and paint more tomorrow!”
“Yes, let’s!” Squirrel and Bird echoed.
They all hopped and flew happily around their colorful meadow.
The end.
