Penguin woke up and looked outside.

He saw a big, icy hill.

“Wow, that looks fun!” said Penguin.

Penguin waddled outside with joy.

Penguin lived in a snowy land.

He loved winter and snow.

All his friends loved winter too.

They liked to play together.

Penguin called his friends to the hill.

“Come on, let’s make a slide!” he said.

Seal was the first to arrive.

Puffin and Polar Bear came next.

They slipped and slid on the ice.

“This is so much fun!” said Seal.

“I want to try!” said Puffin.

Polar Bear helped them climb up.

Penguin slid the fastest down the hill.

“Yes, let’s go!” said Puffin.

They went up and down, smiling.

“Let’s race to the bottom!” he said.

“Ready, set, go!” shouted Penguin.

They slid down, fast like the wind.

At the bottom, they all cheered.

“We are the slide champions!” said Polar Bear.

Penguin felt happy and proud.
