One sunny day, Mongoose and his friends played in the forest.
Suddenly, Squeaky the Mouse shouted, “Snake, snake!”
“What do we do?” asked Puffy the Rabbit.
“I’m scared,” said Sammy the Sparrow.
Mongoose puffed out his chest. “I will protect you.”
Mongoose was known for being brave.
He lived with his friends in the forest.
They all loved playing together every day.
But Mongoose was always ready to help.

The snake slithered closer, hissing loudly.
Mongoose stood tall in front of his friends.
“Back off, Snake!” he yelled.
The snake hissed again, moving even closer.
“I said, back off!” repeated Mongoose.
“Are you scared?” asked Sammy quietly.
“No, I’m brave for all of you,” he said.

Mongoose jumped at the snake, biting its tail.
The snake hissed in pain and slithered away.
“Wow, Mongoose, you did it!” said Puffy.
“You saved us!” cheered Squeaky, smiling wide.
Mongoose panted but stood tall and proud.
“You’re safe now,” Mongoose told his friends.

The friends gathered around Mongoose, hugging him tight.
“You are our hero,” said Sammy happily.
“Thank you, Mongoose,” said Puffy.
“Yes, thank you so much!” said Squeaky.
Mongoose smiled, happy to protect his friends.
They continued their play, safe and sound.
The end.
