Ibis invents a device to clean the river, teaching about innovation and conservation.

Ibis the bird had a big idea. “I want to clean the river!” said Ibis. Ibis loved the river and all its animals. But trash was making it dirty. “I need to invent something,” thought Ibis. So Ibis went to her workshop.

The river was home to many friends. Fish, frogs, and turtles all lived there. One day, as Ibis swam, she saw a sad sight. The river was full of trash. Fish were stuck in plastic bags. Frogs were hopping around bottles. “I must help my friends!” said Ibis.

Ibis got to work in her workshop. She gathered sticks, leaves, and old boxes. Her friend, Benny the Beaver, came by. “What are you making, Ibis?” asked Benny. “I’m making a river-cleaner!” said Ibis. “Can I help?” asked Benny. “Yes! Hold this stick,” said Ibis. They worked all day and all night.

Finally, the invention was ready. “It looks great!” said Benny. Ibis turned on the river-cleaner. Whirrr! It started to pick up trash. “It works!” cheered Ibis. Fish swam freely again. Frogs hopped on clean rocks. Animals gathered to watch in awe. “We did it, Ibis!” said Benny.

The river was clean and beautiful. “Ibis, you’re a hero!” said the animals. “It was team work!” said Ibis. From then on, they used the cleaner regularly. The river stayed clean and happy. And Ibis felt proud and joyful. “The river is our home. We must keep it clean!” said Ibis. The end.
