Lily and Ben loved playing in the garden.
One sunny afternoon, they found a shiny golden feather.
“What’s this?” Lily asked, picking it up carefully.
“It’s so bright!” Ben exclaimed, staring at the feather.
Their grandmother told them stories about the Golden Fairy.
“She grants wishes to kind children,” Grandma said with a wink.
“Do you think the fairy left this feather?” Lily wondered.
“Maybe she’s watching us,” Ben whispered, excitedly.

The next day, Lily and Ben returned to the garden.
They saw sparkles in the air near the old oak tree.
“Look, over there!” Ben pointed with wide eyes.
A tiny fairy with golden wings appeared, shimmering in the sunlight.
“Hello, children,” the Golden Fairy said gently.
“We found your feather!” Lily held it out to her.
“Thank you, dear ones,” the fairy smiled warmly.

“I will grant you both a magical gift,” the fairy said.
“What kind of gift?” Ben asked, bouncing on his toes.
“Lily, you will understand the language of animals,” the fairy declared.
“Animals?” Lily’s eyes sparkled with joy.
“And Ben, you can talk to plants and make them grow,” the fairy continued.
“Plants? I love plants!” Ben cheered loudly.

The fairy touched Lily and Ben with her golden wand.
“Use your gifts wisely,” she said, then vanished into sparkles.
The children spent the rest of the day talking to animals and plants.
“This is amazing!” Lily said, chatting with a bluebird.
“Look how big the flowers are now!” Ben showed Lily proudly.
Every day they used their gifts to help, making new friends along the way.
They felt blessed and knew the Golden Fairy was always near.
