“Luna, look at that twinkling star!” said Max, pointing out the window.
Luna, his sister, gasped. “Wow, Max, it’s so bright!”
Their best friend, Toby, joined them. “Guys, we should go on a galactic adventure!”
Max nodded excitedly, “Let’s get our space suits!”
They all scrambled to get their gear. Luna grabbed the map, Max got the snacks, and Toby carried the telescope.
They jumped into their cardboard spaceship, decorated with shiny stickers and scribbles of distant planets.
“Ready for takeoff?” asked Max.
“Ready!” shouted Luna and Toby together.
Max counted down, “Three, two, one, blast off!”
Max, Luna, and Toby loved exploring. Every Saturday, they imagined being galactic explorers, journeying through space.
Their spaceship might be made of cardboard, but their imaginations made it real.
Luna was the smartest; she always knew where to go with her map.
Max, older and braver by a year, took care of everything else.
Toby, the youngest, was always curious, asking questions and spotting new things.
Their adventure always started in their backyard, but they pretended it was an alien world.
Today, they pretended the backyard was the Galaxy of Glimmer.

“Luna, where should we go first?” Max asked, looking at her map.
Luna studied it. “We should visit the Planet of Sparkles first!”
Toby’s eyes widened. “Planet of Sparkles? What’s there?”
“Legend says it has the brightest gems!” Luna explained.
“Gems? Let’s go!” Toby jumped up and down.
Max steered the spaceship. “Hold on tight! It’s gonna be a bumpy ride!”
They pretended to zoom past stars, asteroids, and comets. Finally, they landed.
“We’re here,” said Max. “Toby, get the telescope!”
Toby peered through it. “I see something shiny over there!”
Luna checked her map. “That’s the Sparkle Cave!”
Max led the way as they walked through the backyard, which became a glowing path in their minds.

Suddenly, they heard a rustling sound. “What was that?” whispered Luna.
Max held up his flashlight. “Stay close, everyone.”
They moved slowly, and the rustling grew louder. Out popped a fluffy creature with big, round eyes.
“Hi!” it said.
Toby stepped back. “Who are you?”
“I’m Glimmy, the guardian of the Sparkle Cave,” the creature replied.
Luna stepped forward. “Glimmy, can we see the bright gems?”
Glimmy smiled. “Only if you solve my riddle.”
“What’s the riddle?” asked Max, feeling brave.
Glimmy grinned. “I shine in the night and disappear in the light. What am I?”
The kids thought for a moment.
“A star!” yelled Toby.
Glimmy clapped. “Correct! Follow me.”
They followed Glimmy to the deep, glowing cave. Shiny gems hung everywhere like stars.

“Wow, this is amazing!” Luna said, eyes wide.
Max grinned. “We did it, team!”
Toby picked up a small gem. “Can we keep one, Glimmy?”
Glimmy nodded. “Take one to remember your adventure.”
Each of them chose a tiny, glowing gem. Luna tucked hers into her pocket.
“Thank you, Glimmy,” Max said.
Glimmy waved. “Come back anytime!”
The kids climbed back into their spaceship. “Ready to go home?” Max asked.
“Ready,” said Luna and Toby.
As they pretended to zoom back, they smiled. They had a treasure and a new friend.
When they landed, Max said, “I can’t wait for our next adventure.”
“Me neither,” Luna and Toby agreed.
The end.
