Frog woke up one bright morning. He had a big idea.
“I want to fly!” said Frog. His friends giggled.
“Frogs can’t fly,” said Turtle. “We hop and swim.”
But Frog didn’t listen. “I’ll make wings,” he said.
Off he hopped to find some leaves and sticks.
Frog loved watching birds fly. They looked so free.
“Maybe I can fly too,” Frog thought each day.
He imagined soaring over ponds and trees.
His friends always said, “You’re just a frog.”
But Frog believed in his dream. “I can try!”

Frog glued his wings together. He worked very hard.
Bear passed by and asked, “What are you doing?”
“I’m making wings to fly,” Frog said proudly.
Bear laughed, “You are very funny, Frog!”
“Just wait and see,” said Frog, feeling excited.
Frog climbed a tall rock. “Here I go!”
“Be careful,” Turtle said. “Don’t get hurt.”
“I will be fine,” said Frog with a smile.

Frog jumped off the tall rock. “Weee!” he shouted.
For a moment, Frog felt like he was flying.
But then, the wings broke apart. Down Frog fell!
Splash! Frog landed in the pond. He felt sad.
Turtle and Bear rushed over. “Are you okay?”
“Yes,” said Frog, shaking off the water. “I tried.”
Bear patted Frog’s back. “Nice try, brave Frog.”

Frog smiled at his friends. “Maybe I’ll fly someday.”
“But for now,” said Turtle, “Let’s play and hop!”
“Good idea,” said Frog. “Flying can wait a bit.”
They laughed and played all day, feeling happy.
Frog learned it was fun to dream and try.
But he didn’t mind being a hopping, happy frog.
“Let’s hop to the big tree!” said Bear.
“Race you there!” laughed Frog, hopping ahead.
