“Look, Alex! The bookstore is glowing!” Emma said, pointing excitedly at the window.
“Whoa, maybe it is magic,” joked Alex, but he felt curious.
They walked into the old bookstore, its door creaking open as if welcoming them.
They saw a shimmering light coming from the far corner, behind a shelf packed with books.
“Do you see that?” whispered Emma. “Let’s go check it out.”
The curious kids pushed through the dusty bookshelves.
They stopped in front of a glowing book on a pedestal.
Alex and Emma were best friends who loved exploring.
They often visited the old bookstore after school to find adventure in the pages of books.
The bookstore was run by Ms. Willow, a kind woman with grey hair and twinkling eyes.
She always had a smile for Alex and Emma and often shared stories about the enchanted books.
“Books have their own magic,” Ms. Willow would say with a wink.
This time, the magic seemed real, and the children were eager to solve the mystery.

“Do we open it?” asked Alex, staring at the glowing book.
“Of course!” Emma exclaimed. “It could be an adventure waiting for us!”
They opened the book and suddenly, the light enveloped them.
When the light faded, Alex and Emma found themselves in an old library with towering bookshelves.
“Where are we?” Alex wondered aloud.
“Look, a map!” Emma pointed to a parchment on a table.
“Ms. Willow always said books can take you anywhere,” said Alex, now believing her words.

Suddenly, a soft, echoing voice filled the library.
“Welcome, brave explorers!” it said. “To find your way home, solve the riddles hidden in this book.”
Emma and Alex exchanged determined looks. “Let us do this,” Emma said.
The first riddle appeared in the air. “I speak without a mouth and hear without ears. What am I?”
“A book!” guessed Alex.
“No, it is an echo!” Emma corrected. The voice responded, “Correct.”
Another clue appeared, leading them through winding corridors and mysterious rooms.
In one room, they found a giant hourglass. “Time is running out,” said the voice.
They raced against the clock to solve the final riddle.

“With a key and a lock, it binds. Without one, it draws the mind. What is it?” asked the voice.
“A book!” Alex shouted.
“That has to be it,” agreed Emma.
“Correct,” said the voice, and the library began to glow brightly.
The light engulfed them once more, and they were back in the old bookstore.
Ms. Willow stood there, smiling. “Did you enjoy your adventure?” she asked, winking.
“That was amazing!” Alex exclaimed, still in awe.
“Thank you, Ms. Willow,” Emma added.
“Remember,” Ms. Willow said, “the real magic is in the stories we read and share.”
The children nodded, filled with excitement and wonder.
They could not wait to see what other mysteries the enchanted bookstore held.
