“Look, there’s a crystal ball!” said Lily, pointing to an object in the old shop.
Tom nodded, “Let’s go see it.”
They walked up to the crystal ball.
It started glowing brightly.
“What is happening?” asked Tom, wide-eyed.
Lily shrugged. “I don’t know, but it’s exciting!”
Suddenly, a voice came from the crystal ball.
“Welcome, Lily and Tom.”
Tom’s jaw dropped. “It knows our names!”
Lily and Tom were best friends.
They loved adventures and always played together after school.
One day, they found an old shop filled with strange things.
That’s where they saw the crystal ball.
The shop was dark and dusty, but the crystal ball shone brightly.
It stood on a wooden table with a purple cloth draped over it.
“Who are you?” asked Lily, her voice shaking a little.
“I am the Crystal Ball,” the voice said. “I reveal prophecies.”
Tom scratched his head. “What is a prophecy?”
The crystal ball glowed again. “Prophecies are messages about the future.”
“Cool!” said Lily, now less afraid.
“Do you want to go on a quest?” asked the Crystal Ball.
“Oh, yes!” they both shouted.
The crystal ball showed them an image of a hidden treasure.
“You must find this treasure before sunset,” the voice said.
“Why before sunset?” asked Tom, curious.
“Because the magic only works until then,” the Crystal Ball explained.
Lily and Tom dashed out of the shop.
They followed a sparkling path shown by the crystal ball.
It led them through a forest and to a small cave.
Inside, they saw a chest glowing with golden light.
“Hurry!” shouted Lily, opening the chest.
Inside, they found colorful gems and a magical wand.
“We did it!” said Tom, hugging his best friend.
They hurried back to the shop, just as the sun began to set.
“We found the treasure!” Tom told the Crystal Ball.
“Well done,” said the voice. “You are both very brave.”
Lily smiled. “Will we have more quests?”
“Yes,” replied the Crystal Ball. “Whenever you are ready.”
Tom and Lily left the shop, holding their magical treasures.
They knew more adventures awaited them.
“The best day ever,” said Tom, grinning.
“Absolutely,” added Lily, skipping happily by his side.
