“Look, there is a squirrel!” said Sam.
“It’s jumping on the tree,” added Mia.
They were in City Park with Grandpa Ted.
“Can we find more animals?” asked Sam.
“Of course!” Grandpa Ted smiled.
Sam and Mia loved visiting City Park.
They often went with Grandpa Ted.
City Park was big and full of trees.
There were lots of animals to see.

“What’s that sound?” asked Mia.
“It’s chirping,” said Sam, pointing up.
They saw a red robin in a nest.
“Hello, little bird!” Mia waved.
“Robins build nests in trees,” said Grandpa Ted.
“Can you count the birds?” he asked.
“One, two, three baby birds!” cheered Sam.

“What’s moving near the pond?” asked Mia.
They all looked and saw a family of ducks.
“Quack, quack!” said Sam, imitating the ducks.
“How many ducks can you see?” asked Grandpa Ted.
“One, two, three, four ducks!” said Mia.
“Good job, both of you!” Grandpa Ted laughed.

“City Park is like a safari,” said Sam.
“Yes, we saw so many animals!” added Mia.
“Thank you, Grandpa Ted,” they both said.
“I had fun! See you again soon,” said Grandpa.
They waved goodbye to the animals.
The end.
